Estas suaves semillas, originarias de América Central y del Sur, se utilizan para hacer aceite de achiote (aceite dorado para platos de arroz). Es un potente colorante alimentario con un suave sabor ligeramente a nuez y se utiliza en toda América Latina, el Caribe y Filipinas. Desde hallacas hasta sazón y cochinita pibil , el achiote agrega atractivo visual y un sabor sutil.

  • Notas de cata: Suave, ligeramente a nuez, un toque de pimienta y nuez moscada.
