Experience the enchantment of spice blending with this hands-on class, taught by Claire Cheney, Curio’s blender-in-chief. Learn Claire’s unique flavor theory and taste rare spices, exploring flavor and aroma. We’ll make a classic blend together and then each participant will create their own custom blend, choosing from the over 80 spices in the Lab’s spice cabinet. 

Fee: $1,500 for up to 12 participants. Beverage and a light snack included. 

We also offer a virtual version of the above class. Pricing starts at $1,500 for up to 40 participants; more seats and spice favors available for an additional fee.

Curio Spice Co comes to your company or venue for an on-flow activation of spice blending over 2-3 hours. Participants get a crash course on the spice blending philosophy and then create their own spice blend using 2 dozen+ spices set up as a blending bar. Each blend is ground and jarred and guests leave with their own custom spice blend and a Spice Flavor wheel.

Fee: $30 per person for 50 person minimum

Celebrate “America 250” with our NEW Boston Tea Party Blending Bar!  Curio will come to your company or venue for an on-flow activation of tea blending over 2-3 hours. Participants get an introduction on the different types of tea and then create their own loose leaf tea blend using base teas, spices, dried herbs and fruits, and fragrant botanicals. Each blend is jarred and guests leave with their own custom tea blend and Tea Blending card along with steeping instructions.

Fee: $35 per person for 50 person minimum

In this densely packed 75 minute workshop, Curio’s founder will guide you through a flavor journey, as well as show you how to create your own expressive and personal spice mix. Each guest will explore hands-on blending at our Spice Bar which evokes the feeling of walking through a historic spice bazaar.

Fee: $1,350 for up to 20 participants
