Native to East Asia and most famously used in Japanese cuisine, yuzu is a type of citrus related to mandarin. While the fruit is seedy and full of pith, the zest and juice are the star of the show. Floral, bright, and invigorating, we source this dried yuzu peel from Wakayama prefecture and love it in both sweet and savory applications. Crush and sprinkle over tomatoes, add to pastries, or use a pinch to compliment the fatty flavors of pork ramen.
