Curio Spice is supporting The Rose Oasis Project to benefit the community of women farmers growing Damask roses, spices, and herbs in the Vallée Dades Mgoune of Morocco.

Since 2020 we’ve been directly sourcing culinary rose products from a women-run co-op in Morocco. The culinary roses, grown 100% organically, are at risk of disappearing due to the effects of climate change. Drought and unpredictable weather threaten this plant that has become essential to the livelihoods of women in this valley.

By regenerating the soil, introducing water-saving technology and poly-culture, the Rose Oasis Project serves as a model for desert agricultural communities around the world.
