Made from roasted tea leaves, Hojicha is one of Japan’s most popular teas, beloved for its deep yet mild and comforting flavor. Balanced and sweet, with hints of rich, toasty cocoa, caramel, and malt, Hojicha’s mellowness comes from its unique roasting process, which reduces bitterness. It's naturally low in caffeine, making it a suitable sip for all ages and all times of day, as a hot or cold brew. While Hojicha is often found as loose leaf tea, our stone-milled version, like matcha, can be enjoyed in lattes, cakes, cookies, and pancakes.
