In early December 2025, severe weather in Sri Lanka resulted in flooding and landslides that its president has characterized as “the most challenging natural disaster in Sri Lanka’s history.” The spice-producing Kandy province was especially hard hit. Many spice farmer families in the James Valley and staff members at the Diyathalawa and Pannampitiya tea factories have lost their homes and livelihoods and are humbly requesting our support. Contributions will go toward meeting essential needs such as temporary accommodation, food, clothing, and medical care until conditions improve. Your generosity will not only provide immediate relief but also give these families hope and strength as they begin the long process of rebuilding their lives.
