We've partnered with our friends at Van Van, a Vietnamese-American woman-owned brand, to bring you these exquisite sliced purple shallots. Grown in the coastal region of Phan Rang, these shallots not only boast a gorgeous color but also an umami sweetness and sharp but spicy flavor. The soil of this region creates a fabulous terroir that has become well known for growing this crop. You can use these dried shallots in place of fresh in your recipes, and save on prep time.
