Ziziphora, Armenian

This rare mint has been used medicinally throughout history, dating back to traditional Chinese medicine. Savory notes of thyme make this a popular spice for scenting meat and cheese in Armenia, but it is also commonly brewed as a tea to soothe the stomach. We source ziziphora directly from a woman owned company on Mount Ara in the Armenian highlands.
