Summer Sangria Spice
A lightly spicy twist on making your favorite Spanish-inspired drink! We love this sangria mix for making an easy but standout batch of beverages to serve at backyard cookouts or on relaxed evenings. Citrus and tart balance perfectly with warming spices, all rounded out with a touch of heat to make this an instant classic!
Hi again, Anita.
Correction. Don’t add ice to the pitcher until you’re ready to serve! Sorry!
Hi, Anita!
Susan from the Curio kitchen, here. I haven’t tried this, but here’s where I’d start
Boil 3 cups water with 1/2 cup sweetner. Add 3 black tea bags plus the pouch of spices. Set off the heat. Pull the tea bags out after 6 minutes. Leave the rest to steep for 30 minutes.
Strain the concentrate into a pitcher with ice and stir in 2 cups OJ. TASTE … You may need to dilute further with more water or adjust sweetener.. You could add a cup of apple juice.
Add 4 cups fruit (chopped peaches, nectarines, plums, pitted sweet cherries, etc. Chill for 4 hours. Serve over.
Let me know how you make out!
Salut!
Sorry I missed the session, but what do you suggest using Summer as a mock beverage?
