It’s ALWAYS ice cream season (according to us)! If you agree and would like to learn about making your own ice cream, join us for this class with pastry chef Kristen Rummel, founder and flavor-guru of Honeycomb Creamery. Kristen will lead a masterclass on making homemade ice cream and share tips about New England ingredients, spices, and seasonal produce that will turn ordinary creations into extraordinary sensations. She’ll start with the basics then turn to your imagination to make creative ice cream flavors. While we wait between the ice cream making steps, we'll make some fun toppings to go with our creations!
You’ll go home with ice cream (along with dry ice to keep it chilled on the way) and recipes. Don't miss out on this fun, delicious, and inventive hands-on class!
Class price: $85 per person

Directions: The Spice Lab is immediately adjacent to our spice shop, at 2267 Massachusetts Ave. Metered parking is available along Mass Ave, or there is a lot at the intersection of Day Street and Herbert Street towards Davis Square if you don't mind a quick walk!

Kristen Rummel spends a lot of her time cooking, baking and churning to create the beautiful, unique flavors for all of the ice creams, toppings, and waffle cones that they serve at the Honeycomb Creamery. Through playful experiments and continual education, she has cultivated a love for unique, inspiring and delicious food. Her favorite ice creams from the shop are Sweet Corn & Blackberry Jam and Brown Butter Pumpkin Cheesecake.
