Want to shake your fist at winter? Ready to wake up your palate with warming spices and invigorating flavors? If so, you must join us for another adventure in Indian cooking with our dear friend, and founder of Fork on a Road, Suman Shah.

During class, she will teach you how to make a classic ‘mother sauce’ which is ideal for batch cooking and freezes well. Suman will then show you how to transform the sauce into three, distinct dishes — rich Paneer Tikka Masala, creamy vegan Cajù Korma, and a rustic version of Kadai — each a worthy centerpiece for a cozy meal. As a bonus, she also will share her recipes and techniques for making homemade naan and paneer!

Your ticket for this demonstration-style class includes recipes, a sample of our Garam Masala (developed with Suman and based on her family recipe) to try at home, and unlimited access to a recording of the class.

Suman’s recipes draw inspiration from her immigrant pantry and New England’s seasonal harvests. When not hosting cooking classes, she’s busy developing her Meal Kits and spice blends found online, at Curio Spice, and at local farm stands around Boston. Suman shares cooking explorations on her site Fork on a Road, drawing inspiration from different corners of the world. As an instinctive cook, she makes familiar foods in unexpected ways, making them easily adaptable and accessible for a busy life.
